Minel started baking at the tender age of 13. She is a strict vegetarian. Her childhood days were spent in Malaysia. Growing up in the 1980’s, meant having little access to delicious vegetarian treats. The lack of accessibility coupled with, taste buds that enjoyed a sweet treat, honed her inspiration to bake. Over time, the joy it brought to those biting in is what turned the inspiration into continuous motivation to bake.

 

Minel is passionate about share and promoting the joy of vegetarian baking, hence Sugar & Flour was started.

We want to be a part of your baking journey. At Sugar & Flour we offer engaging and interactive home based hands-on baking classes. We offer a range of classes, from cake baking (eggless & vegan), to bread and pastry making, and even kids’ baking classes.
